April 27, 2020

Brooklyn, New York native bedroom/blue pop/r&b singer/songwriter Chloe Lilac recently released her single "Moderation" following her previous release Obvious off her forthcoming sophomore EP due to be out later this year via RCA Records.

The single "Obvious" takes a critical jab at the troublesome intricacies of a new relationship, Chloe describes, "'Obvious' is about being with someone that clearly doesn’t like you as much as you like them, being in denial about it and then realizing you’re better than that bullshit." While the single "Moderation" is brimming with a punk-inspired edge styled alongside jarring guitars and unabashed vocals, where Chloe is at her most raw to-date. She describes, “This song is about my struggle with mental health and self hatred. I’m a really intense person and I sometimes feel like people can only handle me in moderation."

At the age of 13, she was sneaking out to perform on the street of NYC due to her passion for music. In 2017, through her self-produced songwriting had begun releasing songs starting with her first-ever released single, "Reckless" breaking the Top 5 on the U.S. Spotify Viral Chart. From there she gained the attention of media outlets and toured all throughout 2019.
