Every Day is Halloween for Ancestral Curse

November 10, 2019

On November 1, the local Long Island band Ancestral Curse opened up for Allegaeon and played their first show at the Kingsland in Brooklyn, New York.

Throughout their set they would lighten the mood by throwing and handing out candy to the crowd in celebration of Halloween the previous night.

This band is heavily horror/slasher inspired and obsessed. Sticking to the theme of shock and horror, this three piece band shakes the fear into their listeners with heavy foot pedals of Randy Tesser, melodic guitar riffs of Eddie Jacobellis, and powerful vocals of Michael Tinghitella.

Despite not having their bassist, for a first show this was a success.

They are currently working on their first EP. For now, you can check out their recent released single entitled "The Dread Sea." If you are looking for a new horror themed band to get into, give these guys a listen.
